What personal information does IOTAA collect?
In running the IOT Impact event, IOTAA will collect personal information, including your name, job title, company’s name, postal and email address, telephone numbers and survey responses. This information may be collected in a number of ways:
- By participating in the event as an exhibitor, sponsor or speaker
- During registering to attend the event as a delegate
- By downloading information from the event website
- By submitting details via one of the contact addresses on the event website
- Being contacted directly by the IOT Impact event project team with a request for the information
What does IOTAA do with your information?
All of the information described above will be stored on IOTAA’s database for the event.
IOTAA will use this information to contact you (for example by email, SMS or telephone) about the upcoming IOT Impact event. It may also share your information with third parties contracted by IOTAA to perform specific activities for the event.
IOTAA may use this information to contact you about its future events or activities, including becoming a member of the IOTAA. Delegates who do not wish to be contacted by IOTAA in this manner may opt-out during registration.
IOTAA may also share delegate’s information with sponsors and exhibitors at the event, provided you opt-in for this during registration.
Where sponsors and exhibitors send promotional items for IOT Impact to their own databases, with either a direct hyperlink or a promotional code to register for IOT Impact, we will provide that sponsor or exhibitor with the details of all people that registered for the event via the hyperlink or the promotional code.
Otherwise IOTAA does not share any personal information with any other third party.
